The WC100 is the biggest Multi-Fuel boiler we provide, giving out a max 400,000BTU/hr, it is able to heat up buildings varying from 7,000 – 11,000sqft. They are ideal for residence owners and commercial owners searching for a sturdy, long-lasting boiler with the capability to heat up a mixture of fuels.
The WC100 is a no-frills, conventional, hand-fired, updraft boiler. They are built out of ¼ inch steel metal…
which allows it to provide accommodating heat to your loved ones for a lifetime. Having been manufactured for more than 30 years you will have peace of mind in knowing that you can keep your loved ones warm and save a fortune for the years to come.
Our signature caste iron grates and our Dual Draft system make it possible to burn various types of solid fuels (anthracite and bituminous coal) in the right burning chamber and provide the capability to personalize the airway to optimize burn effectiveness with each type of fuel. It can also be set up to run without electricity. A liquid fuel backup burner (oil, propane, natural gas or waste-oil) is available also (see the WOC models).
The WC100 comes standard with:
- Legacy Grate System
- Huge 16” Loading Door
- Automatic Dual Draft System – Forced Draft Blower and Natural Draft Damper
- Firebrick Lined Firebox
- Moisture Cooled Baffle (for increased efficiency)
- Hydro Tested to 60PSI
- Built of ¼” Steel Metal
- Honeywell Disseminator Control Aquastat
- Temperature/Pressure Gauge
- ASME Approved Pressure Relief Valve
- Load Door Smoke Flap
The WC100’s cost of purchase is one of the most economically viable out there! The average cost of ownership is only $40.00 – $80.00 per year !!
Conventionally, Multi-Fuel boilers have been marketed as wood/coal combinations, however, thanks to EPA Phase 2, these units are no longer marketed for ongoing use with wood.
Want a liquid fuel back-up option for the best flexibility? Come take a look at our WOC100 model.
For automatic feeding boilers please browse through our Wood Gun or Coal Gun product series.
Domestic Coil
This Domestic Coil features a 100° F rise at 5 gallons per minute, 50° water inlet temperature, and 65 PSI water pressure. It is threaded into a 4 IN NPT threaded fitting.
Oil/Propane/Natural Gas Backup
The WC100 can be fixed with a back-up fuel option. This needs a dedicated firing tube that must be constructed during production.
Automatic /Manual Switching
For #2 fuel oil, the oil back-up can operate in an automatic change-over scenario, with fuel oil taking over when the boiler has ended its coal fuel. For other fuels, such as natural gas or propane, change-over is manual only.
Insulation Jacket
Our base unit Multi-Fuel boilers have no insulation on the outside of the boiler, allowing optimum heat radiation in the boiler room. If you opt to keep more of the heat produced in the water, an insulation jacket can be put to the boiler. This insulation jacket is similar to that used on Wood Gun or Coal Gun boilers.
ASME Certification
The ASME Certification secures the steel quality and weld standard of the boiler water jacket. Each ASME Certified water jacket has been pressure compressed to 60 PSI and comes with a 30 PSI release valve.
Low Water Cutoff
A Low Water Cutoff senses the water level in the boiler’s vessel and will turn the unit off if the water level falls to a dangerous level.

Domestic Coil
This Domestic Coil features a 100° F rise at 5 gallons per minute, 50° water inlet temperature and 65 PSI water pressure. It is threaded into a 4 IN NPT threaded fitting provided on the boiler for this purpose.
Oil/Propane/Natural Gas Backup
The Multi-Fuel boiler can be fitted with a backup fuel option. This option requires a dedicated firing chamber for the boiler that must be built in to the vessel during manufacturing. This chamber is water jacketed for its entire length for excellent heat exchange and efficiency.
Automatic/Manual Switching
For #2 fuel oil, the backup system can function in an automatic switch-over scenario, with fuel oil taking over when the boiler has exhausted its coal fuel. For other fuels, such as natural gas or propane, switch-over is manual only.
Insulation Jacket
Our base unit Multi-Fuel boilers have no insulation on the outside of the boiler, allowing maximum heat radiation in the boiler room. If you prefer to circulate more of this heat, an insulation jacket can be added to the boiler. This insulation jacket is comparable to that used on the Wood Gun or Coal Gun boilers
ASME Certification
The ASME Certification guarantees the steel grade and weld quality of the boiler water jacket. Each ASME Certified water jacket has been pressure tested to 60 PSI, and includes a 30 PSI release valve.
Low Water Cutoff
A Low Water Cutoff senses the water level in the boiler’s vessel and will shut the unit down if the water level drops to an unsafe level. Available with automatic reset or manual reset.
